Paris, je t'aime!!

Oh mon Dieu!  For those in love with the city of lights, "Midnight in Paris", the penultimate Woody Allen movie, is a tribute to the French capital, a gift for the senses (the beautiful scenes of the city and magnificent sound track), a love celebration! I'll never forget the first time I saw the Eiffel Towel. I cried with the emotion! This movie brought back those memories!

Para los amantes de la ciudad de la luz , "Midnight in Paris" (En España tendréis que esperar al 13 de Mayo, salvo descargas ilegales ejem ejem..) la penúltima película de Woody Allen es toda una oda a la capital Francesa, un regalo para los sentidos, una celebración del amor.. ! Nunca olvidaré la primera vez que ví la Torre Eifel. Lloré de emoción. Y esta película me ha vuelto a traer esos recuerdos!  Esas preciosas las tomas de la cuidad con la banda sonora de fondo!(Clásicos del Jazz y Blues como Cole Porter o Frank Sinatra)

The main character, Owen Wilson, exalts his passion for the place that: “... For all we know... is the center of the universe”. Woody impregnates us with each corner of magical Paris. I love it!

El protagonista, Owen Wilson, exalta a la enésima potencia su amor por el lugar al que llama "El centro del Universo". Nos impregna con pasión de cada rincón de este lugar mágico y substituye perfectamente al personaje que hace unos años hubiera representado el propio director.


But aside of it's location, the most important part in the film are the dialogues. Genius and witty like Allen. Owen Wilson is a good substitute for a character that Woody would have played himself years ago.

Aparte de encuadre maravilloso, lo más importante del film son los diálogos. Ocurrentes y geniales como es Allen. 

The film touches an universal topic, common to all generations. The belief that any past time was always better.

El film aborda un tema universal, común a todas las generaciones. La creencia de que todo tiempo pasado fue mejor... y hasta aquí puedo contar :) 

Great 20's style dresses (by the Spanish Sonia Grande)  and superb supporting cast. Specially Adrien Brody as Dali. Outstanding!

Maravilloso el vestuario años 20 (de la española Sonia Grande) y los papeles secundarios, en especial Adrien Brody como Dali. Excepcional!

Curious note:  Pedantic is the same in Spanish, "pedante".
Nota curiosa: Pedante, se dice casi igual en inglés, "pedantic".
